Ed brings 28 years of financial, estate, investment, and strategic tax planning experience to Nepsis™. He has a passion to create a client experience that brings our fiduciary responsibility to the forefront of the client relationship. He helps clients focus on the most important factors they can control to reach their goals. He understands the relationship between client feelings and their behaviors, especially around financial decisions. As a student of behavioral finance, he helps clients build the skills necessary to make financial decisions in the face of irrational exuberance and/or fear. Ed brings 13 years of working directly with CPA’s and their clients to uncover unique tax and financial solutions that business owners, affluent families, and executives experience over time.
Over his career, Ed has worked for several fortune 200 financial services companies in various roles that have helped him develop a unique set of skills to serve clients across a spectrum of life experiences. He also has trained thousands of financial advisors on how to build a client centered business that brings the clients financial goals and actions into alignment with the values clients. Ed has attained his Series 63 and Series 65 licenses and is pursuing a Chartered Financial Consultants (ChFC) designation.
Ed is married and lives in Lakeville with his wife, Ellen, and Champ (a loving bully breed dog). Ed and Ellen have two grown children who live in St. Paul, MN and Kansas City, MO. He is also Veteran of the United States Army, is an active member of his church serving on the Benevolence Committee and as a Stephen’s minister, loves to play golf, travel, and laugh.
